PreACT Administration for Students in Grades 9 and 10
On Friday, April 17, the PreACT will be administered in a digital format to all students in grades 9 and 10. Students will use their school-issued Surface devices for testing. The PreACT provides valuable practice for the ACT.
Testing Day Details• Friday, April 17 @ 8 a.m. (assigned testing rooms will be posted in the concourse on Thursday)
• Students in grades 9-10
• Digital (student Surfaces) using TestNav App (app can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store)
• Early Dismissal from school
- Standard testing: approximately 11:15 a.m.
- 50% extended time: no later than 12:30 p.m.
- 100% extended time: no later than 1:30 p.m.
• Lunch will be available for all students for those choosing to stay for lunch.
• No make-up testing, please avoid scheduling appointments that day.

• Ensure all computer updates are complete.
• Fully charge the Surface and bring the charger to school.
• Confirm the TestNav App has been downloaded from the Microsoft Store and is ready to go on the student's Surface.
• Get a good night’s rest and a healthy breakfast.
Jr/Sr Brunch for Students in Grades 11 and 12
Juniors and Seniors who signed up for the brunch field trip will report directly to Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 17. Students are responsible for their own transportation. They are dismissed upon conclusion of the brunch, approximately 1:30 p.m.
Early Dismissal and No Periods 1-7 for High School Students
High School students will not have periods 1-7 on Friday. Students will report for testing (grades 9/10) or brunch (grades 11/12). If a junior or senior did not sign up for the brunch, they are to work on any pending assignments or study for upcoming assessments off campus (or may work in the Learning Commons if needed). High school students will have early dismissal on Friday.
